Terms of Service
Last Modified: June 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of securenep.com and any security services provided by SecureNep ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
All penetration testing and security assessments require explicit written authorization from the system owner before any testing begins.
Acceptance of Terms
By engaging SecureNep for any security services or using securenep.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Your continued use of the site constitutes ongoing acceptance of these Terms.
Authorization Requirement
All security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scans performed by SecureNep require explicit written authorization from the system owner before any testing begins. Unauthorized testing is illegal under Nepal's Electronic Transaction Act (ETA 2063) and international cybercrime laws.
Clients must provide written authorization confirming they own or have permission to test the target systems. SecureNep will not perform any testing without this authorization on file. Any misrepresentation of authorization is solely the responsibility of the client.
Scope of Services
SecureNep provides the following services as described and agreed upon in each engagement:
- Vulnerability scanning and assessment
- Penetration testing within agreed scope
- Website and server hardening
- Security reporting and consulting
Any testing outside the agreed scope requires additional written authorization.
Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required before any security engagement begins. The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the final report. All prices are quoted in NPR unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are non-refundable once testing has commenced.
Confidentiality
SecureNep treats all client information, system details, and security findings as strictly confidential. We will not disclose any client-specific information to third parties without explicit written consent. Clients are equally expected to keep assessment methodologies and tools used during engagements confidential.
Intellectual Property
Security reports, methodologies, and tools developed by SecureNep remain our intellectual property. Clients receive a license to use their specific reports for internal purposes only. Reports may not be resold, redistributed, or published without explicit written permission from SecureNep.
Disclaimer of Warranties
This site and all services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that security testing will uncover every vulnerability, or that remediation of identified vulnerabilities will prevent all future incidents.
Limitation of Liability
SecureNep's liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific engagement. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, data loss, or business interruption resulting from vulnerabilities discovered during or after an assessment. Security testing carries inherent risks — clients accept these risks by engaging our services.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, including the Electronic Transaction Act (ETA 2063) and applicable cybersecurity regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Pokhara, Gandaki Province, Nepal.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this site with an updated date. Your continued use of our site or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
